Lime Wash

Lime Wash finish has a quiet way of changing a space.

Made from natural lime and mineral pigments, it’s applied by hand in thin, translucent coats. Each layer soaks into the surface rather than simply sitting on top of it, allowing the wall to retain a soft, natural depth.

The brushwork is part of the finish. Limewash is worked in loose, overlapping strokes, creating subtle movement, tonal variation, and a gentle cloud-like texture that shifts as the light moves through the room.

Up close, you notice the marks and mineral character. From a distance, the surface feels calm, soft, and almost continuous.

It’s a finish that changes with its surroundings. As it settles into the space, the colour and texture develop a quiet patina, becoming more natural with time.

We approach limewash slowly and simply — allowing the material to do what it naturally does.
